Cristy Tucker Counseling and Consulti​​ng 

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and  Supervisor for newly licensed counselors in the state of Oklahoma, wife to a computer guy from Texas, mother to five daughters and a son, volleyball and basketball fan, mystery novel reader and occasional crafter. I grew up in Texas and Wyoming, went to college and lived part of my life in Arkansas and now call Oklahoma home.

 I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and Masters in Community Counseling in 2002 from John Brown University after realizing it is my life goal to help children, adolescents, parents and families to grow through life and live their best journey. Parenting education, strengthening families and decreasing stress/anxiety have been my passions for almost twenty years. 

I have been an LPC for 18 years, serving in outpatient, school-based, and inpatient settings. One of my first jobs as a therapist was the Counseling Director for a Children’s Advocacy Center working with abused children and their families . Since that time, I have assisted in building programs to benefit and strengthen area families in both Arkansas and Oklahoma and taught family communication and other counseling foundation classes at area universities.

 I recently ventured back into the private practice realm to spend more time with my family and to share the knowledge I have learned over the years. Throughout my counseling career, my goal has always been to help others grow in their journey. Whether it be as a child, adolescent, adult, parent, or family, growth is key to a life lived well.
